Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech reportedly set to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr

With only six Premier League starts made during the 2022–23 season, the Morocco international has fallen down the Stamford Bridge pecking order. A new beginning is being planned for the creative 30-year-old.

Ziyech is the most famous name to register on the Saudi Pro League team Al-Nassr’s recruitment radar, as reported by Standard Sport. They already have one of the greatest players of all time on their books, but they’re keen to find a player who can give the five-time Ballon d’Or winner more firepower.

The most ambitious Middle Eastern club are rumoured to have several players in mind as potential targets for the summer transfer window, in addition to Ziyech. A few domestic rivals of Al-Nassr are also thinking about an attempt for the Moroccan forward.

Hakim Ziyech has been with Chelsea football club since 2020, making 107 appearances, but he might join the likes of Romelu Lukaku and N’Golo Kante in leaving West London as a steady stream of top talent heads to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Nassr is also set to hire a new coach this summer. They parted way with Rudi Garcia in the middle of the season and under-19 coach Dinko Jelicic took over for the rest of the season.
