China helps debt-ridden Pakistan to pay Saudi loan

China has once again helped Pakistan in paying off its debts. This time China has came to help for paying Pakistan’s Saudi Arabian loan of $2 Billion. China will finance $1.5 Billion out of the $2 Billion debt. Pakistan has planned to repay $1 Billion today and the rest in January. China has not funded this amount via SAFR, instead it has come to an agreement with Pakistan to increase the CSA (Currency Swap Agreement) by an additional $1.5 Billion.
