Zhao Lijian, spokesperson for China has denied asking Pakistan to provide them with additional guarantees against funding Pakistan’s $6 billion Railway project. They have also referred to the reports which mention China backing away from its word for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as ‘baseless’. Zhao has rejected all reports which mentioned China not keeping the promises it made for the $60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
