It appears as though China is backing out of the promises which it previously made to Pakistan under CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) due to immensely increasing numbers of attacks on the Chinese engineers. Pakistan has deployed their army on the CPEC in order to reassure China that there will be no more terrorist attacks on their engineers and that their investment of $60 billion is secure.
