Chinese president Xi Jinping has put forward a statement in the recent BRICS summit which said “We are are working with our Russian and Brazilian partners on phase 3 clinical trials of the vaccine. We are prepared to have cooperation with South Africa and India.” The Chinese government is willing to distribute the vaccine and make it available in developing countries and promote cooperation to defeat the COVID-19 virus as early as possible.
