Chirag Paswan ousted from his post as LJP party president via a coup

Chirag Paswan a member of the Lok Janshakti Party which is led by his uncle was isolated by a coup and has now been removed from the position of party resident. Until a new president is elected in a national executive meeting which is expected soon Suraj Bhan will function as working president of the party. The decision to revolt against Chirag Paswan began when he decided to steer away from the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) during the Bihar election which took place in November and concentrated his vehemence on defeating ally Nitish Kumar.

This decision was taken in an “emergency meeting” held by the rebel MPs who will now be calling the shots regarding decisions pertaining to the party. The rebels have mentioned that Chirag Paswan was removed from the post of party president under the principle of “One Man, One Post” last evening.

Sources have mentioned that the rebels soon try to remove Mr. Paswan as the leader of the LJP parliamentary board, removing him of the position of power that he had after he took over the position from his father who is also the founder of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP ) Ram Vilas Paswan.

Mr. Paras, the younger brother of Ram Vilas Paswan and the head player in the coup which was launched with the help of the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar.
