Chris Pratt Reveals His Home Was ‘Miraculously’ Spared From LA Wildfires

Chris Pratt is feeling incredibly thankful after his home was “miraculously” spared in the Los Angeles wildfires. On January 22, the actor shared a video on Instagram as he returned to his home in the Palisades, which he had to evacuate due to the fire danger. In the video, Pratt expresses his gratitude, saying, “By the grace of God, we have four walls and a roof,” referring to the fact that his house survived the devastating blaze.

Pratt was clearly shaken by the damage the wildfire caused to his community, saying, “It’s truly devastating.” While he felt relief that his home was safe, he also expressed sorrow over the destruction of other homes and public properties. He revealed that the community he lived in was largely “gone,” and his son’s school had also been affected. Tragically, Pratt also shared that his ex-wife, Anna Faris, lost her home in the fire. Pratt and Faris, who were married from 2009 to 2018, share a son, Jack, who is now 12 years old. A representative for Faris confirmed that she and her family are safe and are thankful for the support they’ve received.

Pratt also mentioned that many of his friends had lost their homes in the fires. Despite the devastation, he ended the video on a hopeful note, emphasizing resilience and faith, saying, “We trust in God, and consider it all a blessing.” He expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support and the community’s spirit of unity during such a challenging time. He promised to provide more updates as they become available.

The Pacific Palisades Fire, which is now recognized as one of the most destructive firestorms in Los Angeles’ history, burned over 23,400 acres, causing widespread damage and heartache.
