Christopher Nolan Expands The Odyssey’s Star-Studded Cast With Jesse Garcia and Will Yun Lee

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey continues to generate massive buzz as it adds even more talented actors to its star-studded ensemble. Jesse Garcia and Will Yun Lee are the latest names to join the cast, though their roles remain a mystery for now. Both actors bring impressive resumes to the table: Lee, known for his roles in The Good Doctor, Die Another Day, and The Wolverine, and Garcia, recognized for The Mother, Flamin’ Hot, and Quinceañera.

They will join an already stellar lineup, including Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Matt Damon, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and more. The ensemble also recently welcomed Himesh Patel, Elliot Page, and Samantha Morton to the project.

Set to be released on July 17, 2026, The Odyssey will showcase Nolan’s signature use of IMAX technology, promising a visually stunning experience. The film is an epic retelling of Homer’s classic Odyssey, chronicling the journey of Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, as he faces numerous perils on his long journey home after the Trojan War. Themes of heroism, loyalty, and resilience will play a central role, as Odysseus confronts legendary figures like Polyphemus, the sirens, and Circe.

Fans can look forward to seeing Garcia in the upcoming Disney+ film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip, set for release on March 28, 2025. Lee, on the other hand, stars in Altered Carbon, available on Netflix.

With Nolan at the helm and such a powerhouse cast, The Odyssey is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the decade.
