Citadel: Honey Bunny Trailer released; Watch now

On Tuesday, the highly anticipated trailer for Raj-DK’s Citadel Honey Bunny was published today, fulfilling a promise made earlier. The trailer introduces the main characters, stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan) and struggling actress Honey (Samantha).

Needless to say, the caravan is an action-packed trip with weapons and bullets flying in all directions. Honey and Bunny have a history. When they reconcile, they battle to safeguard their small daughter, Nadia.

Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra, who starred in the UK version of Citadel, was titled Nadia in the series. The teaser concludes with a sharp line from Nadia: “Everyone is dying or being killed.” I’m still a kid, you know.” Raj and DK injected the trailer with plenty of comedy and punchlines.

Varun Dhawan highlighted Samantha’s determination and grit during the teaser launch event, citing her condition as a source of difficulty throughout the production. “Honestly, my preparation was much easier than Samantha’s. It is widely known what she was going through when she joined the show. I thought my rehearsals were difficult, but when I saw her great work ethic despite her hardships, it actually encouraged me.”

He also adds, “We became partners in making things happen.” Samantha Ruth Prabhu disclosed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune illness.

Citadel: Honey Bunny also features Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher. Here is everything you need to know about Citadel, a multi-series produced in India, Italy, and Mexico.

It stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra and is backed by the Russo Brothers. Raj and DK led Citadel’s India chapter. Samantha previously collaborated with them on Family Man 2.
