American and British stars Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy welcomed a baby girl into their family today and talk about how the pregnancy wasn’t planned and how they couldn’t be happier to have a girl child join their family after having two boys.
The couple, however, weren’t happy with the unexpected news and were open about their feelings. It was all in good fun and the English actor simplified it in a humorous and funny way on Jimmy Fllon’s show about how he is figuring out parenting one day at a time as his boys are still young.
Hugh was asked by Jimmy Falon if his children knew what their parents do for a living and if they had seen any of their films, to which Hugh replied, “They are still too young and don’t really care much right now, and with movies, not much could be shown to them that is appropriate, but I did show them Ella Enchanted.”
Hugh also stated that, with another child on the way, he has made peace with the fact that no parent is ever prepared and that you only figure out how to sort things out after the child is out in the real world.
