Conor McGregor accused of sexually assaulting woman in restroom at NBA Finals: Report

Conor McGregor, the UFC star, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in an arena restroom just after Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami, according to TMZ.

The woman, according to the report sent demand letters to the fighter, the NBA, and the Miami Heat seeking a settlement in lieu of taking legal action.

“We are aware of the allegations and are conducting a full investigation,” the Heat said in a statement. “Pending the outcome of the investigation, we will withhold further comment.”

Ariel Mitchell, the woman’s attorney, claims in the letters that security for both the team and the NBA forced her into a restroom where McGregor and his security officer were waiting.  Then, Mitchell wrote, McGregor then “aggressively kissed” the lady as security kept everybody out of the restroom.

McGregor then forced her into oral sex and while he tried more sexual activity, the lady repeatedly elbowed him and was able to run away, according to Mitchell. On June 11, she reported the alleged assault to police in Florida.

McGregor’s representatives informed TMZ that the accusations are false.

“Mr. McGregor will not be intimidated,” they added.

Officials from the UFC informed TMZ that they were aware of the accusations.

“UFC will allow the legal process to play out before making any additional statements,” per the promotion’s statement.
