Cristiano Ronaldo made history on Tuesday by scoring a spectacular headed goal in the Arab Club Champions Club match between Al Nassr and US Monastir at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh. Al Nassr won 4-1 in the group stage match, with Ronaldo scoring the second goal, which helped his team gain the lead at a key moment in the match.
Ronaldo scored one with a spectacular header to set the record for most headed goals in football history despite his recent goalless streak. He surpassed German legend Gerd Muller’s tally of 144 header goals.

Talisca opened the scoring for Al Nassr in the 42nd minute of the crucial clash following their goalless draw against Al Shabab in the last match. However, US Monastir came back in the second half with an own goal from Ali Lajami. Ronaldo’s spectacular header in the 74th minute gave Al Nassr the lead back. They scored two goals in the dying minutes to secure their victory.
This season, Al Nassr signed Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovi from Inter Milan in a deal reportedly valued at 18 million euros ($20 million). They are on their way to signing Sadio Mane from Bayern Munich in the next few days. Mane joined Bayern Munich last season following a great spell with Liverpool, but his stay in Munich did not go as expected.
