Avenue Supermarket, the hyperchain that owns D-Mart has shown a 20% rise in its stock price in the last six sessions. At 10.21 AM the script was 1.5% higher than the previous day’s close which was Rs 2652. The stock hit an all-time high of Rs 2752 on BSE. This year the stock has grown 47% till date. Analysts predict this rise was a result of three vaccine makers applying for emergency use authorization from DCGI.
