In Celine Song’s film Materialists, Dakota Johnson gets caught up in a complex romantic triangle. The official trailer for the romantic film, which stars Lucy, an aspiring matchmaker in New York City, who is caught between Pedro Pascal’s character Randy and Chris Evans’ John, was unveiled by A24 on Tuesday.
The affluent suitor and her flawed ex are seen competing for her love in the video. Song, who made her directorial debut with Past Lives, is the writer, director, and co-producer of Materialists. On June 13, it will be released in cinemas. Pamela Koffler, Christine Vachon, and David Hinojosa are the film’s other producers.
The 2023 romance drama film earned the Canadian director two Oscar nominations. Sawyer Spielberg, Eddie Cahill, Louisa Jacobson, Dasha Nekrasova, Marin Ireland, and Zoë Winters are among the other cast members of Materialists.
