Union Budget 2021: Highlights and key stocks that moved during the budget session

Healthcare stocks increased more than 2% after Finance Minister announced new scheme called the PM Atmanirbhar Health Yojana with the finance of Rs 64,180 crore over the next 6 years and adding this allocation to the National Health Mission Scheme.

Shares of VA Tech Wabag increased by 2% and stocks of Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd rose by 5%. Urban Swach Bharat Mission 2.0 has been allocated 1.41 trillion over the period of 5 years starting from this fiscal year.

Stocks of Auto sector increased on the green note by 1.5 – 2% which includes the shares of Maruti Suzuki Ltd, Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Nifty Infrastructure Index rose around 1.2% after Nirmala Sitharaman allocated Rs. 1.97 trillion over the next five years for capital expenditure. Shares of KNR Construction Ltd, Ashoka Buildcon and NCC Ltd rose more than 4%.
