Danish Pandor reveals Akshaye Khanna’s Viral ‘Fa9la’ Entry in Dhurandhar Was Completely Unscripted

Akshaye Khanna has once again proved his flair for unpredictability on screen. His viral dancing entry in Dhurandhar to Flipperachi’s hip-hop track Fa9la has become one of the biggest talking points of the film, and now co-star Danish Pandor has revealed the moment was never planned.

In a conversation with Filmygyan, Danish  who plays Akshaye’s cousin Uzair Baloach shared that the scene, shot in Leh Ladakh, took the entire crew by surprise. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly was designing the sequence when Akshaye casually asked director Aditya Dhar, “Can I dance?” Aditya responded with, “Do whatever you like.”

What followed became cinematic gold. “We all entered, and he started dancing on his own. There was no choreography for him. Everyone was shocked, kya kar diya yeh inhone. After the shot, people started applauding because the frames looked incredible,” Danish recalled, praising Akshaye as “terrific.”

The entry marks Rehman Dakait’s meeting with his Balochi men before a crucial deal with ISIS. After the clip went viral, the makers released the full song, further boosting the film’s popularity.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as spy Hamza, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and others. While critics are divided, the audience response has been overwhelmingly positive. Viewers have praised the film’s performances, gripping storyline and striking visuals, helping the movie maintain strong word of mouth. With a powerful opening of ₹160 crore, Dhurandhar is being celebrated as an engaging and well-made entertainer that continues to attract crowds.
