On its second Monday, De De Pyaar De 2 is predicted to earn Rs. 1.50 crore, a decrease of almost 33% from its second Friday. There has been a 60% decrease since Monday. The total for its second week has reached Rs. 13.25 crore, and it is anticipated to end the week with a net total of Rs. 17–19 crore, or around half of what the film brought in during its first week.
At the Indian box office, the 11-day running total has hit Rs. 60.75 crore net. The fact that De De Pyaar De 2 is outperforming Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and other recent mid-sized movies—that too without any Buy One Get One deals—is its saving grace. The fact that the Anshul Sharma film is drawing a larger crowd than this weekend’s offerings, 120 Bahadur and Mastiii 4, is another plus. That won’t, however, be able to save it from a disastrous box office conclusion.
According to current statistics, De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to conclude its theatrical run at between Rs. 70 crore to Rs. 75 crore, which is nearly 20–25% less than what the original movie made in 2019—that is, without accounting for inflation. In other situations, it would be about 50% less than the first movie, which is unsatisfactory for a follow-up.
