De De Pyaar De 2 box office day 6: Ajay Devgn’s film continues its underwhelming run, nears ₹45 crore mark

On its debut Wednesday, De De Pyaar De 2 hopes to earn Rs. 3.25 crore net. Over its Monday hold, the film had a 15% decline. At the Indian box office, the six-day run earned a net of Rs. 44.50 crore. Starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Meezaan Jafri, and Jaaved Jaaferi, the offbeat comic entertainer isn’t doing as well as it should.

With a little decline, the patterns thus far are comparable to those of the original movie. The film is turning out to be just another cliched sequel, even though it should have opened better and shown a positive trend at the box office. Around Rs. 46 crore would be spent during the first week of De De Pyaar De 2, but it is insufficient to cover the project’s expenses and cast.

Since there won’t be any major releases till Dhurandhar, the film has a decent chance of continuing to build traction over the next two weeks. Even still, the film is not doing well. De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to end at around Rs 80 crore or less, therefore its future doesn’t appear bright.

In the post-pandemic era, avoiding a failure is an accomplishment in and of itself, thus it will be intriguing to see if the Ajay Devgn film can avoid the FLOP verdict with this one.
