Dear X stars Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Do Hoon dismiss dating rumors; director shares unseen photos as ‘evidence’

The cast of Dear X seemed to get along well. It seemed that the K-drama would suffer after online rumours of a love relationship between stars Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Do Hoon emerged. But after reading the news, the celebrities recently shared their first thoughts.

Not allowing the rumours ruin their friendship, the two apparently joked about it. The director of Dear X, Lee Eung Bok, even made fun of them for having more pictures of the two actors during a press conference on October 30. Kim Young Dae, who was unable to accompany them on the trip at the time, appeared to be as interested in learning the truth as everyone else.

Kim Yoo Jung expressed her feelings after reading about it, saying, “At that time, we had just finished the Busan promotion schedule and everyone was scattered,” according to a Newsis report. As soon as the news broke, we quickly got on the phone, and for the next three minutes or so, we laughed about it.

The actress talked to the director about making a joke out of the issue and expressed the hope that the drama would succeed because of the publicity. According to Kim Do Hoon, they had a great time laughing. Lee Eung Bok, on the other hand, thought the situation was humorous and was prepared to make the most of it. “I’m prepared to offer a few more pictures [as evidence].” Last time, I managed to secure them.

“To be honest, I didn’t know anything,” said Kim Young Dae, the male lead, who had been silent throughout the exchange. I didn’t know. This is a little TMI, to be honest, because I was unable to accompany them. I had absolutely no idea what was happening or if it was real. I even gave them a serious call and asked, “Are you really dating?”

However, they claimed it was lie. Back in May of this year, pictures of Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Do Hoon travelling in Vietnam were shared on an online group, sparking romance rumours. Not just the two of them were involved. After filming Dear X, the individuals who had free time participated in a production retreat.
