Delhi Court to hear Olympic wrestler Sushil Kumar’s anticipatory bail in Chhatrasal murder case

On Tuesday, May 18, Rohini Court (Delhi) will be hearing an anticipatory bail plea that has been filed by famous wrestler Sushil Kumar. The Olympic wrestler has been charged with Section 302 (murder) and Section 308 (attempt to culpable homicide). Judge (ASJ) Jagdish Kumar will be hearing about this matter in additional sessions by 10:30.

On May 5, Delhi Police has filed an FIR against the Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar after a fight. Inside the Chhatrasal Stadium, some wrestlers were found injured and one of them died after taking to the Hospital and this incident was reported on Tuesday. Delhi Police registered a case of murder.

Yesterday, Delhi Police has declared a reward of Rs 1 lakh for Sushil Kumar and Rs 50,000 for co-accused Ajay for providing their information.

As reported by the source, the crash happened between two groups of wrestlers at the Model town stadium that has been last for a long time. They have also been reported to have this type of incident several times before it.
