On wednesday, Seema Dhaka, Delhi Police constable from Samaypur Badli Police Station became the first female to be granted an ‘out-of-turn’ promotion by the Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava for tracing 76 children in less than three months. Dhaka has reduced children from Delhi, West Bengal, Uttara Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Punjab among others and she said she was working on such cases for months as she wanted to reunite the families.
