The former promoter of DHFL (Dewan Housing Finance Ltd), Kapil Wadhawan has resubmitted his offer through a letter to the DHFL administrator Subramaniakumar on the 19th of December assuring to pay the whole outstanding principal of almost Rs. 91,158 crore to the creditors including State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank etc. He is willing to pay Rs. 9000 crore upfront and the rest within the span of seven to eight years by converting debt to equity. He is ready to sell the DPLI to repay money.
