Dhurandhar box office: Ranveer Singh film crosses ₹800 crore worldwide with record-breaking third weekend overseas

In its third weekend abroad, Dhurandhar made approximately USD 3.60 million (Rs. 32 crore), bringing the total amount earned at the foreign box office to approximately USD 18.78 million (Rs. 169 crore). With the addition of Rs. 634 crore from the Indian domestic market, the global total has now surpassed Rs. 800 crore, reaching Rs. 803 crore.

Dhurandhar is currently racing toward the Rs. 1000 crore milestone, which it will cross sometime next week, thanks to the momentum it is carrying. The third weekend’s earnings surpassed those of Jawan and Baahubali: The Conclusion, setting a record for both Bollywood and Indian cinema. This is true even though the movie was not released in the Middle East, which would have increased its foreign total by an additional 15% to 25%.

In every major market, Dhurandhar is doing incredibly well. It is almost a certain that it will be Bollywood’s new highest-grossing film in the US, Australia, and Canada. The final two will also be records for Indian cinema. The movie should still place in the top two or three in the UK, even if it doesn’t break the record. Given the patriotic overtones in the movie, it would typically receive little support from the Pakistani diaspora, who makes up a sizable section of the Indian film audience in this market.

Nevertheless, the fact that it is set in Pakistan and is based on the Pakistani underground has sparked a lot of interest, which seems to be attracting viewers. Due to extremely strong momentum, significant spillover, and the upcoming Christmas season, Dhurandhar now looks certain to surpass the USD 25 million mark. The forecasts are now close to USD 30 million.

That might not seem like much when compared to Jawan and Pathaan’s approximately USD 50 million and some other movies that have made USD 25–30 million, but this will be done without taking use of the Middle Eastern markets, which could have added USD 5–10 million.
