Dhurandhar began its seventh week with an approximate nett collection of Rs. 1.50 crore on Friday. With Stree 2’s previous peak of about Rs. 1 crore, that is once again a record daily collection for a Hindi movie. Dhurandhar should be able to match Stree 2’s seventh-week record of Rs. 8.75 crore.
A week of about Rs. 12–13 crore would normally be anticipated from a Friday of Rs. 1.50 crore, but Dhurandhar has demonstrated less increase over weekends than we see these days, so a more realistic goal would be Rs. 10–11 crore. The Ranveer Singh film has made approximately Rs. 770 crore nett at the box office.
It is expected to reach approximately Rs. 780 crore nett by the end of this week. Next week comes the huge release of Border 2, which will cause business to decline. The movie is expected to make between Rs. 785 and Rs. 790 crore. At this point, the Rs. 800 crore nett barrier is essentially ruled out.
Dhurandhar is already the highest-grossing Hindi movie ever, regardless of where it ends up. Considering the Hindi version alone, Dhurandhar is getting close to 3.50 crore viewers, making it the first Bollywood movie to do it since Dangal (Jawan did it in all formats).
It used to appear possible to overthrow Dangal, but that is no longer the case. That being said, it is important to note that the box office has declined since the 2010s. The decrease is present even if it appears to be less for larger films because they often have longer runs now days because there is less competition.
