Dhurandhar: The Revenge returns to cinemas with key changes

Even as Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to dominate the box office, a minor on-screen error briefly captured the audience’s attention. The action-packed sequel, directed by Aditya Dhar, has received widespread acclaim for its scope and detail. However, a slight flaw in one scene rapidly became viral. The scene in question showed Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, in a fierce battle sequence.

A cameraman was seen for a single second in a reflection shot during the incident, which was noticed by sharp-eyed spectators and extensively shared on social media. The video quickly became a meme fest, eliciting both amusement and outrage. However, the creators acted quickly to solve the problem.

According to a trade source published by Bollywood Hungama, “Cinemas across the country were sent revised prints of the film and told to screen them immediately.” Some theaters got the fresh print on Saturday, while others got it on Sunday.

The insider continued, “In this revised print, the cameraman is no longer visible in the mirror’s reflection. When providing such a large-scale film, you must consider numerous factors. Mistakes occur from time to time. Such errors can be found in Hollywood films as well. It’s commendable that Aditya Dhar and his team fixed the mistake. It goes without saying that even after the theatrical run, the corrected version will be shown on OTT and satellite.”

Despite the momentary diversion, the film’s performance remains unchanged. The sequel expands on Hamza’s story, delving further into his background and emotional journey. The film stars Ranveer, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in significant parts. Dhurandhar 2 remains a significant box office hit, earning over ₹300 crore globally in just a few days.
