The rapper and music mogul, currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, appeared “astonishingly thinner” and “grayer” than usual, which has sparked speculation about how his months behind bars have affected him. Elizabeth Millner, a reporter who attended the hearing, noted that his physical transformation was likely due to the challenges of prison life, contrasting with his previous luxurious lifestyle.
In his first week of custody, Diddy was placed on suicide watch, though he was later removed after his legal team confirmed he was focused and strong. However, his lawyers acknowledged that the food in prison remained a significant issue for him.
While some reports suggest Diddy appears weakened, a source close to him contradicted this, claiming he remains “fit, healthy, and fully focused on his defense.” The insider stated that Diddy has been working out regularly and staying active, maintaining a good attitude and positive spirits, especially when interacting with his children.

Diddy is facing multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, following a federal investigation. He has been in custody for three months, having been denied bail three times, and is scheduled to stand trial on May 5, 2025.
