Dilip Kumar shares a scene from 1959 film Paigham, fans say it is relevant even today

Veteron actor Dilip Kumar, recently tweeted a video which includes a scene from his movie Paigham, released in 1959. Fans loved the scene and many of them said that it is relevant even today. The actor was also praised for his conviction and impressive dialogue delivery.

In the movie Paigham, Dilip Kumar played role of Ratan Lal who is fighting for the rights of the mill workers. In the scene that he tweeted, the actor is seen fighting with Seth Sewakram, who is the owner of the mill. Dilip Kumar tells the owner that he is doing injustice with the workers.

One of his fans commented, “Gosh… that made me weep. Aise bhi dialogue likhe jaate the aur aisi acting process hoti thi… Bahut khoob!” (Great dialogues, great acting process. Well done). Another fan wrote, “We love the scene, the movie and we love you Dilip sahab. Get well soon.

Another fan pointed out the relevance of the scene even today and wrote, “The message is quite relevant now and I commend you for putting this out.”

Dilip Kumar had a great conversation with the owner in the scene, and touched several topics like worker’s rights, exploitation, salary, etc. All these problems are prevailing even today and need to be addressed.

Dilip Kumar was recently admitted to Hinduja hospital due to breathlessness. The 98 year old actor was discharged after the treatment given by a team of talented doctors like Dr. Gokhale, Dr. Parkar, Dr. Arun Shah and entire team at Hinduja, Khar.

The film, Paigham, was written and directed by the legendary director, Ramanand Sagar and was accompanied by S.S Vasan for direction. Apart from Dilip Kumar, the movie also stars Vyjayantimala, Raaj Kumar, Johnny Walker and several others.
