Bollywood legend Dharmendra, fondly known as the He-Man of Indian cinema, is currently recovering at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The 88-year-old actor’s hospitalization has left fans and colleagues deeply concerned, with many sending heartfelt wishes for his speedy recovery.
Actor Divya Dutta joined in expressing her love and concern for Dharmendra. On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to share a touching video filmed during a Mumbai traffic jam. As Dharmendra’s classic song Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas played on the radio, Divya reflected on her memories connected to the star.
“The spirit of Mumbai. Traffic jam, youngsters playing badminton, a mother embracing her son… and me, overwhelmed with my thoughts,” she wrote, adding that both she and Dharmendra hail from Sahnewal, Punjab. “He’s woven in our lives, our childhood. The He-Man. Get well soon, Dharamji. You are precious,” she added.
According to updates shared by his daughter Esha Deol, Dharmendra is stable and showing positive signs of recovery. On Monday, several members of the Deol family, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Tanya Deol, were spotted at the hospital. Many stars such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, and Ameesha Patel also visited to check on the veteran actor’s health.
