Donald Trump’s Snapchat permanently banned

Donald Trump’s snapchat has been permanently banned on Wednesday. Snapchat has noted that after the elections result, Trump for months repeatedly violated its community guidelines and terms and conditions of services.

For public safety, based on the number of attempts he discovered to spread misinformation, hate speech, and incite violence, Snapchat made a decision to permanently terminate his account.

President Joe Biden, who won recent US elections has his inauguration in the coming week with an aim to specially focus on what to do about accounts linked to the President. Social media platform has to limit the reach of inflammatory content and accounts in the wake of US Capitol riots.

Not only Snapchat but also other social media accounts like Facebook and YouTube said that they would ban Trump’s account from posting for at least the remainder of his terms in office and perhaps “indefinitely”.
