D’Andre Lawan “Dre” Kirkpatrick, an American football cornerback who is now a free agent, was born on October 26, 1989. In the first round of the 2012 NFL Draught, the Cincinnati Bengals selected him from Alabama’s collegiate football programme. He has also played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals.
Kirkpatrick played high school football for the Gadsden City Titans while he was a student at Gadsden City High School. He played on the same squad as Crimson Tide teammates Kendall Kelly and Jerrell Harris. In the autumn of 2008, he finished his senior football season. Kirkpatrick competed in the 2008 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Classic and the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where officials measured him at 6 feet 2 inches and 180 pounds.
Kirkpatrick concluded his career with 193 tackles, 17 interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns, 36 pass breakups, two sacks, one punt return score, one kick return touchdown, and one receiving touchdown while playing his last three high school seasons at Gadsden City (35 games). Following the conclusion of his senior year, he was named the ASWA 6A defensive back of the year and a first-team all-state defensive back for the second year in a row.
Kirkpatrick was one of the most coveted and highly regarded high school football recruits in the nation as of February 2009, having received a five-star rating from major recruiting websites Rivals.com and Scout.com.
On February 7, 2009, Kirkpatrick revealed his choice to join the Alabama Crimson Tide live on ESPNU, capping several months of recruitment.

Kirkpatrick got a rookie deal worth $8.62 million with $7.84 million guaranteed after he was selected by the Bengals in the 2012 draught. The agreement included a length of four years and a $4.71 million signing bonus. He received a salary of $7.5 million in 2016 when the team activated a fifth-year option on his contract in 2015.
The Bengals again offered him a contract extension in 2017. The five-year deal had a value of $52.5 million and a $12 million guarantee. A $7 million signing bonus was also given to him.
