On his X (formerly Twitter) account, Elon Musk frequently posts interesting things like memes and updates on the products his firms are working on. The billionaire recently posted a video of Tesla’s Optimus robot walking in a room.
Elon Musk wrote, “Going for a walk with Optimus.” The video shows a robot gently walking around a room. A small group of people can be seen watching the robot move.

The Optimus robot is part of Tesla’s AI and robotics group and takes an AI-first approach. The company claims that using inference hardware is the only way to create fully self-driving, bipedal robots. Optimus Gen 2 is Tesla’s newest robot and the successor to Optimus Gen 1, which was announced in March 2022.
A couple of days ago, the billionaire posted a video of Tesla’s Optimus robot skillfully folding a t-shirt. The video shows the humanoid carefully taking a T-shirt from a basket and folding it with both hands, mimicking human movements. However, when the video went viral on the internet, Musk had to clarify that Optimus cannot do this on its own currently but would be able to do so in the future.
