In an ongoing encounter in Adigam village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, three army personnel and a police officer sustained injuries, officials confirmed on Saturday.

The incident occurred during a gunfight between militants and security forces, following a cordon and search operation in the area. According to a senior official, the injured include three soldiers and the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Kulgam, all of whom are in stable condition.

The encounter, which began early in the morning, escalated as security forces responded to the militant presence in Adigam, part of the Devsar area.
