Piramal Group and Oaktree Group have both come out to be very competitive about acquiring the bankrupt DHFL (Dewan Housing Finance Corp Ltd). Both the bidders are currently in the fourth round of negotiations and have offered to sweeten their bids. During the latest meet, Piramal has proposed an additional Rs. 4000- Rs. 5000 crore from their end into DHFL if and when it wins the bidding war. The two suitors are very driven towards taking over the home financer.
