Management of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has come under close inspection of the parliamentary panel. The authorities concerned with this institution have asked the NDA and other state governments to handle some of the health facilities included in it. Representatives of ESIC are invited by the standing committee on labour for further management discussions concerning these hospitals. Some hospitals are guarded by the state governments and medicines are provided by ESIC which makes them difficult to function.
