The last episode of Even Given The Worthless Appraiser Class saw Ein encountering Yuri, the spirit of the Yggdrasil tree, and her guardian Ursula. Yuri revealed she healed Ein out of gratitude and granted him the Spirit’s Eye, enhancing his appraisal abilities and allowing him to analyze enemies with a time-slowing effect. Ursula decided to train Ein, teaching him new spells and the ability to copy abilities. In the dungeon, Ein showcased his growth by defeating the Death Bear that had previously killed him, demonstrating his determination to escape.
With the Spirit’s Eye and Ursula’s training, Ein is set to gain the strength to challenge S-class monsters in Episode 3. Yuri, wanting to accompany Ein to the surface, will persuade Ursula to enhance him further by upgrading his Spirit’s Eye to a Divine Spirit Eye and embedding the Philosopher’s Stone in his other eye. These enhancements will allow Yuri to travel with Ein while also linking Ursula’s consciousness to him. As they prepare to leave, Ein will confront Yuri about a critical matter, potentially tying into the mysteries of the Yggdrasil tree.
