After Congress party’s national spokesperson Udit Raj raised concerns over the reliability of EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines), the Election Commission (EC) said that the machines are “absolutely robust and tamper-free.”
Even the Supreme Court has upheld the integrity of EVMs more than once, said Deputy Election Commissioner in-charge of EVMs Sudip Jain. Notably, the Election Commission had invited all political parties in 2017 to prove that the voting machines can be tampered with.
