Farah Khan has followed Bigg Boss closely for years, not just as a viewer but also as someone who steps in to host the Weekend episodes and frequently features contestants on her popular YouTube vlogs. During a recent conversation on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Farah opened up about who has impressed her the most in the current season of Bigg Boss 19.
When Soha casually asked Farah to predict the winner of the Salman Khan hosted reality show, the filmmaker initially hesitated. She explained that since she is closely associated with the show, she avoids naming a potential winner because she does not want to influence audience opinions. But after a moment, Farah admitted that she does have a favourite this year, Gaurav Khanna.
Farah shared that she felt the show’s narrative has now shifted strongly towards Gaurav. Describing his presence in the house, she said Gaurav stands out because he remains calm, dignified and non-abusive even when many contestants seem to be ganging up against him. She added that he is “holding his own very well,” despite the rising tension in the house.
She also recalled that her prediction last year turned out to be correct when she confidently said actor Karanveer Mehra would win the season. This time, Farah believes Gaurav is emerging as a strong and steady player who is managing to stay focused even as the environment becomes increasingly toxic. According to her, the more chaotic the house becomes, the more Gaurav’s maturity and composed behaviour appeal to viewers.
With Bigg Boss 19 getting more intense every week, Farah’s endorsement has added even more attention to Gaurav’s growing popularity. Fans now wait to see whether her instincts prove right once again.
