Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan recently brought together politics and light-hearted humour in her latest YouTube vlog, featuring Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. Farah, accompanied by her cook Dilip, visited the minister at his Delhi residence for what turned out to be a warm and memorable interaction.
The meeting began on a respectful note, with Farah greeting Gadkari with a handshake, while Dilip touched the minister’s feet. Setting the tone for the vlog, Farah joked that this was the biggest personality to appear on her channel so far. She also playfully warned Gadkari that Dilip had a request and might repeatedly bring it up.
Dilip wasted no time and candidly asked the Union Minister to help build roads in his village. Speaking in Hindi, he requested Gadkari to consider road development in his hometown of Darbhanga, Bihar, adding that it would greatly benefit the villagers.
Farah responded with humour, pointing out the scale of infrastructure projects Gadkari is known for, including major flyovers and expressways across the country. Despite the joke, Dilip reiterated his plea, stressing how important proper roads would be for his village.
The moment drew smiles all around, with Nitin Gadkari responding warmly to Dilip’s straightforward appeal. The exchange stood out as a reminder of how everyday concerns often find space even in the most unexpected settings.
