The farmer’s protest has taken another turn as the farmer’s announced a nation wide agitation on Feb 06, 2021 a week after their tractor rally went violent on Republic Day on Red Fort.
A member of Bhartiya Kisan Union announced that there will be a country wide agitation on February 06, 2021 and they will be blocking roads between 12 PM – 03 PM. The announcement was made during the press conference at Singhu border were the farmers will be blocking national and state highways for 3 hours.
Indian farmers have been protesting the newly launched agri laws by Central government for the past 2.5 months and has demanded the take of the black laws. Various sites of protest have been turned into war zones as the basic supply of internet services, water and electricity supply have been banned at those locations.
