Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry has declared Uday Shankar as the president-elect for 2020-21. Shankar is the first ever entertainment executive to lead FICCI. FICCI is an association of business organisations in India providing a platform for network building across sectors. Shankar is President of Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific and Chairman of Star India and Disney India. In addition to this, he was a proficient journalist and served as the editor of Star News and TV Today. He has also served as the President of IBF.
