‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ trailer features something hiding in the shadows

The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, which has been in production for eight long years, is at last just about here and today we got our first proper glimpse at the show’s main stars:  Foxy, Bonnie, Chica, and of course, Freddy himself.

The second trailer of Universal Pictures’ most awaited video game adaptation, Five Nights at Freddy’s, has been released, taking viewers to the iconic restaurant chain that was popular decades ago. After the first trailer focuses on introducing the nostalgic aspect of Freddy’s universe, the second one makes a statement by reminding viewers that this will be a horror story above all, with the main characters finding themselves in danger of death while attempting to solve the mysteries hidden in the restaurant.

The trailer begins with a break-in at the infamous Freddy Fazbear’s pizza joint, a half-robbery, half-vandalism operation that goes horribly wrong for the four unlucky morons who thought it would be a good idea. With that out of the way, the trailer goes on to more closely portray the events of the first game in the series: A security guard is hired to keep an eye on the decrepit eatery, only to find that its beloved animatronic mascots are a bit more active, and a little less friendly, than he was led to believe.

The film Five Nights at Freddy’s will be released in cinemas and exclusively available on Peacock on Friday, Oct. 27.
