Union Budget 2021: FM will use a made in India tablet to read budget today

The first paperless Union Budget is all set to be presented today. The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will use a Made in India tablet to present the budget. The tablet is called the ‘Digital Bahi Khata.

The Union Cabinet is scheduled to meet at 10.15 am to formally clear the Budget as per set procedure. Presentation of the Budget and tabling of related documents are the only things listed on the Lower House’s agenda for the day.’

The team has already reached the parliament and is scheduled to chair the cabinet meet before the presentation.
