Former Premier League star makes stunning claim that Mohamed Salah has signed a contract to move to Saudi Arabia next season

After this season, Liverpool FC could have to deal with losing one more of their stars. Following manager Jurgen Klopp’s unexpected statement that he will leave the club at the end of the season, Mohamed Salah is reportedly leaving as well.

Salah has reportedly signed a deal and will begin playing in the Saudi League next season, according to Mido, a former Egypt international who once plied his trade in the Premier League.

“Mohamed Salah will be in the Saudi League next season. Contracts have been signed,” Mido, who previously represented Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, posted on X to his 5.6 million followers.

Liverpool reportedly turned down a £150 million offer for the 31-year-old last summer from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittifaq.

However, according to a recent report, the Saudi clubs have several Premier League players on their radars, so when the summer transfer market opens, they will go on a shopping spree.

Salah’s current deal with Liverpool is valid until 2025. The Egyptian star has over 150 goals to his credit since joining Liverpool in 2017 from AS Roma. He has also won many trophies, including FIFA Club World, the Premier League, FA Cup and the Champions League.

Along with Salah, the Saudi clubs are reportedly pursuing Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Raphael Varane, Andreas Pereira, Kevin De Bruyne and Andreas Pereira.
