Tottenham legend Jurgen Klinsmann has spoken about the possibility of a return to his old club to help Tottenham to recover from its miserable form in the previous few seasons.
Klinsmann, who managed Hertha Berlin in Bundesliga earlier has been out of action since February and he said that he would definitely consider an offer to return to Tottenham as a manager where he scored 29 goals in 50 appearances for the London based club. He also said that Tottenham Hotspur president, Daniel Levy has his number and he can call him anytime and they can talk about the details regarding the offer.
He said that ” I’m always in touch and doing stuff with spurs is always something special. I had the best time of my life there during my two spells. In the football world, things happen so fast, I never thought I’d coach Germany or the United States so you have to have an open mind. you have to always think about new challenges, so why not spurs. ”
Tottenham finished the league in the 7th position after a promising start of the season. They will be playing the UEFA Conference league after a disappointing second half of the season, and to add to their misery, Harry Kane is most likely to leave the club this summer. Introducing Klinsmann might be a good change and help Spurs in winning some silverware which they have always wanted.
