In the first five trading sessions of November, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have pumped in Rs 8,381 crore on a net basis in Indian markets thanks to several factors including the gradual resumption of economic activities, better-than-expected quarterly numbers and positive global cues. Investors put in a net Rs 1,817 in the debt segment and Rs 6,564 crore into equities during November 2-6.
