The border standoff between India and China in Ladakh has been going on for several months now and finally both the troops are de-escalating after their meeting on the 6th of November. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has mentioned that they are in communication with India through diplomatic and military channels and that they are working on further de-escalation from Ladakh. As many as 50,000 Indian Army men are deployed in Eastern Ladakh in sub-zero conditions since the countries have not come to a conclusion on the border dispute.
