The eagerly anticipated teaser for Marc Webb’s live-action Snow White, a Disney classic, has finally been made public. Gal Gadot, who has long portrayed Wonder Woman, has now taken on the role of the Evil Stepmother.
Moviegoers, however, are not really pleased with it. Gal Gadot has been the target of intense criticism ever since the teaser was published, with many people doubting her choice for the role in Snow White.
Many fans believe she ‘can never be’ like Charlize Theron from Rupert Sanders’ Snow White and the Huntsman, and they vented their dissatisfaction on X (previously Twitter). One user criticized Gal Gadot’s acting skills and wrote, “Gal Gadot has no range, no talent, no charisma, no morals so, naturally, Hollywood is committed to make her a movie star. You really have to suck to make it in that business.”
While another wrote, “Why do movies keep casting Gal Gadot like are the actors still on strike ??” Third one reads, “Why do movies keep casting Gal Gadot like are the actors still on strike ??”
Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the screenplay for the American musical fantasy film Snow White, which was directed by Marc Webb. It is a live-action adaptation of the 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was adapted from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Snow White from 1812.
On March 21, 2025, the movie, which stars Rachel Zegler, Andrew Burnap, and Gal Gadot, will be released in theatres.
