Actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan is well-known for her outspoken opinions and personality. She frequently expresses her thoughts on the current problems in the house and appears to be a very keen Bigg Boss 19 watcher. During a recent task, Tanya Mittal body-shamed Ashnoor Kaur by referring to her as “haathi” and then “moti.”
Tanya’s comments have now drawn criticism from Gauahar, who described them as “completely disgusting.” Gauahar posted a video of himself speaking Hindi on Instagram on Friday. She criticised Tanya for her comments against Ashnoor, saying, “At first, I thought Tanya was really nice, naïve, a little dramatic — and pretty funny. Although I still think she’s funny, it’s awful how she’s been body-shaming Ashnoor behind her back. “She doesn’t look 21,” “She’s so chubby,” and “She’s putting on weight” were some of the things she said about her while giving her the nickname “haathi,” which means elephant.”
She also criticised Tanya for making Ashnoor feel inferior, adding, “I just don’t understand why someone would comment on someone else’s appearance and then say behind their back that they don’t look good.”
“Everybody has the right to think and feel that they are attractive. Furthermore, it’s acceptable if you believe that you are the epitome of beauty. You’re not beautiful at all, though, if you minimise other people in order to feel more attractive. If khoobsurat hone se zyada, then khoobseerat hone is significant. For example, if aapki soch achhi nahi hai, then aap khoobsurat nahi ho sakte”, she adds.
In the most recent Bigg Boss 19 episode, competitors fought for the title of captain of the house by selecting their favourite between Pranit More and Shehbaz Badesha. Tanya was playing for Shehbaz, and Ashnoor was playing for Pranit. The housemates were tasked with gathering numbered balls that were thrown from pipes in the garden area. The job would be won by the competitor having the most numbers on the balls.
Pranit’s buddies Abhishek, Gaurav, Mridul, Malti, and Ashnoor helped him win the captaincy duty in a lopsided manner. All of the housemates have been nominated for eviction this week, with the exception of Abhishek, Ashnoor, and Mridul. It will be interesting to see whose journey ends this Weekend Ka Vaar.
