After the lead stars, Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon‘s names were announced, celebs like Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Abhimanyu Singh have joined the cast of Bachchan Pandey. Now it is also known that television star Gaurav Chopra will be making his debut into the Bollywood industry with this movie. He will be seen playing the role of villan in the film.
Confirming the news to BTimes, the actor said, “I feel extremely fortunate to be casted in a film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It doesn’t get better than this for a debut. To find someone like Farhad (Samji) sir as a director was great.” He further added, “Debuting in a film that has Akshay Kumar sir is a privilege. As the antagonist of the film and to stand up against him, I needed that confidence that Farhad sir, Akshay sir, and Sajid sir gave me on the set in Jaisalmer.”
The actor is known to reach Jaisalmer on February 18 and has joined the team for the shoot.
