Actor Gia Manek, best remembered for her role as Gopi Bahu in the popular television show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, took her fans by surprise on Thursday by announcing her wedding to actor Varunn Jain. The couple shared beautiful pictures from their special day, giving a glimpse into their intimate traditional ceremony.
In the pictures, Gia and Varunn were seen twinning in golden-themed outfits. Gia looked radiant in a mustard-gold silk saree with a broad zari border, paired with heavy gold bridal jewellery including layered necklaces, earrings, maang tikka, and bangles. She completed her look with a jasmine-adorned bun. Varunn complemented her in a cream kurta with a golden dupatta, as the couple posed lovingly together after their vows.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, the newlyweds wrote, “With the grace of Divine and Master’s and with all the love showered, we’ve stepped into this forever union — hand in hand, heart to heart. We were two friends, today we’re husband & wife. So grateful for the love, blessings and wishes from all our loved ones who made this day so special.” They ended the post with hashtags including #bhutashuddhiwedding and #gratitude.
The wedding, as per the post, was held at Isha Foundation in Tamil Nadu. Interestingly, Gia chose to disable the comments section for the announcement. While not much has been known publicly about her relationship with Varunn, fans are delighted to see the couple begin this new journey together.
